Hypnotherapy

Come on, did you really think a website inspired by two widely successful hypnotherapists wouldn’t have a dedicated section on hypnotherapy? Of course, we would. It’s not just part of our career, it’s part of who we are. It is through our work with our clients and hypnotherapy that led to the creation of UI Academy to create awareness of Universal Intelligence.

The power of our subconscious, to Universal Intelligence, is available to every one of us. We want to help you become aware that you can already access it.

Everything that has ever happened, will happen, is available to you from within. It doesn’t come from the outside in; it’s the other way around, “inside out.”  No drawing the energy from the heavens. Heaven is within you; let it out. Let’s remove those blockages; just allow it.

Through our in-depth exploration of the world of hypnosis, we have uncovered something truly remarkable: our minds are far more powerful than we often acknowledge. Hypnotherapy helps to unlock that power. It opens the door to the subconscious, guiding us toward self-healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being.

In guided sessions, we learn how to tap into this innate potential, which helps us overcome challenges, rewrite limiting beliefs, and reshape our realities with intention and clarity.

So... What Is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a gentle psychological technique that works with the subconscious mind to help shift one’s mindset and behaviours. It’s like updating internal software, but without all the error messages.

When you’re in hypnosis, you’re in a state of relaxed focus, calm, and awareness, but not distracted by the usual noise. In this space, you’re more open to accepting helpful suggestions (or, as we like to call them, invitations).

Hypnotherapy: The Official Bit

Hypnotherapy is a specific form of psychological therapy that uses hypnosis to help with a range of emotional, mental, and even physical challenges. It’s often used to:

  • Shift habits and behaviours (bye, nail-biting!)
  • Weight Loss
  • Manage pain and stress
  • Heal trauma or anxiety patterns
  • Boost confidence and performance

Some therapists weave hypnosis into other approaches (like cognitive-behavioural therapy or pain management techniques), though they may not always call it “hypnotherapy” by name.

Yes, You Can Do It Yourself

Self-hypnosis is a thing, and yes, it works. Think of it like mental yoga for your subconscious. Some people are naturally more responsive to hypnotic suggestions than others (tools like the Harvard Group Scale of Hypnotic Susceptibility can give insight), but don’t worry: even if you’re not super “suggestible,” hypnotherapy can still be incredibly helpful.
